BoBo’s Blog-O-Rama

Well rally season has officially begun for me as I have attended the 21st annual Illinois Moto Guzzi Rally at the Big River State Forest in Oquaka. Fun was had by all. We had a fire department breakfast in Kirkwood, Ill wich was awesome and then we toured the Alexis firetruck company. There was good food and free drinks all weekend and the camping was beautifull. Plus, there was a pretty decent band playing too. Then on Sunday I went for a ride to Fort Madison via the Great River Road and had fun playing at Historic Fort Madison museum thing wich is next to the Catfish Bend casino. While there I ran into Gatsby’s Crazy Uncle Ted whom used to have a blog here. Completely unexpected encounter but was a blast. And before I went home, I had ice cream and played 18 holes of miniature golf. Alone, this sounds un-eventful, had it not been for the fact that it took place outside the walls of the Fort Madison Maximum security prison:P

So yeah, it was awesome. Paul tagged along for the lot of the adventure. We both had a pretty good time. Next rally is Elkader in July and Wisconsin in August and possibly Minnesota in August as well. I recomend anyone attend these beautiful rallies. Elkader is the national rally this year too.

Other than that work has taken a vast majority of my time and sanity so sorry if I haven’t been as entertaining as I have been in the past. But I’m working on having more to say.

Well, I started slinking down the mainpage again so I thought it should be time to post once more. Work has taken alot of my time and sanity lately and on my days off I either lounge and sloth or go outside and enjoy not being at work so my internet time has suffered. Plus my aol is kicking me off fairly frequently again so it pisses me off which limits my online time as well. But enough babbling.

What’s new in BoBoland? Well, since I have vowed not to bitch about work, I’m not going to. Instead, I am going to rejoice in the fact that I have the weekend of the 20th off. There are three things I want to do on that weekend and I don’t know how exactly that will happen yet, but I plan on seeind Eric Sardinas live, go to my cousins graduation party, and go to the Illinois Moto Guzzi Rally in Oquaka. So if anyone wants to meet me there or join me or whatever, get a hold of me and we’ll have a Guzzi of a time. I’m also planning on attending the Iowa rally in July which is the national rally this year, and the Wisconsin rally in August. Possbly stopping by the Minnesota rally as well depending on when I have to work. Also if I play my cards right, I will be seeing Exodus in Cedar Falls this week:P

I am still waiting on band news since the band I am trying to join is taking the summer off for various reasons but I will continue to practice over the summer and I will let everyone know what happens. I did jam with them once and I think it went over well and I had a blast.
