William M. Black

Yup, I went to the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium in Dubuque, IA for a tour of where Gatsby works. Fun was had and I plan on going back sometime. If you are thinking about going, do go because BoBo recomends it. It’s alot of fun and education for ten bucks. (in case you want to know who William M. Black is, it’s the boat Gatsby works on at the museum, ask him about it, he loves that).

And after that we went up to visit Zach and once again fun was had by all, except for Gatsby’s usual bitching, it was a great trip:P

Inside todays entry, you will find a massive clump of things I have been thinking about and some random news. Check it out!

Somebody Cheer Me Up!

Heh. Yeah. BoBo is not a happy camper lately. I still exude my usual silliness but I just don’t feel the same as I used to. Alot of stuff has been getting on my nerves lately and I guess this is the place where I talk about it so I don’t have to go to therapy:P

Alot has been on my mind lately as I just said, some good, some bad, some wierd. So watch where you step in here:P

100th Post!

Well, it finally happened. I’ve been close for months now and I’ve finally given in and I am now ready to present to you my 100th post on e53.org. Thanks to everyone who reads this and/or comments. I love each and every one of you:P Also special thanks to all my fellow e53ers for keeping the flame alive. And especially I thank Zach for running everything and keeping us online. Read his site and comment on it cause he is cooler than you:P

Anyway, for my 100th post, I’m going to share some funny and interesting stories that I read in the December 1999 issue of Car and Driver magazine. It was an issue that had 100 stories to look back on 100 years of the automotive century. So I thought it would be appropriate for my 100th post:P

So come on in and join in the celebration and here’s to another 100 posts! (note: some stories and facts may or may not be dated since it’s been a few years since this was published.)

Moment of Silence…

Today is the 60th anniversary of D-Day. So take a moment to reflect.

It was the largest invasion the world had ever seen, as the allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, while paratroopers landed behind the beaches to prevent reinforcement of the German front line. It had to be pure hell. To the veterans of D-Day, alive or dead, BoBo salutes you.

Also, take a moment to remember the last great president, the great communicator, Ronald Reagan, who passed away at age 93 earlier this week.

Ok, now after you wipe the tears from your eyes, c’mon in and I’ll tell you where I’ve been the last few weeks and why it wasn’t here. There’s plastered Gatsby’s, slain deer, Moto Guzzi’s, Gun shows, Olive Gardens, and more!
